Research & Usage Guide

Why This Page Exists
This guide explains how to validate, mix, and structure research cycles with Apex Athletics Labs peptides so you can feel confident in your purchase and your protocol.
Our 10mg Standard
Most Apex Athletics Labs peptides are supplied in 10mg vials. This is the research sweet spot for:
- Stable concentration
- Accurate mixing and dosing calculations
- Full multi-week research cycles per vial
- Less waste than oversized vials
As new compounds are added, they are designed around this same standardized research format unless stated otherwise.
1. Validate Your Vial
Before starting any research, confirm:
- COA: Third-party tested for identity and purity (≥98%).
- Appearance: Clean white lyophilized powder, no discoloration or clumping.
- Labeling: Correct peptide name and stated concentration (typically 10mg).
- Vial: Sealed, intact, research-grade glass.
If your vial meets all of the above, you are working with legitimate, research-grade material.
2. How to Mix (Reconstitution)
For research use only. Example mixing ratios for a 10mg vial:
- 10mg + 2mL bacteriostatic water → 5mg/mL
- 10mg + 4mL bacteriostatic water → 2.5mg/mL
- 10mg + 5mL bacteriostatic water → 2mg/mL
Steps:
- Clean vial tops with an alcohol wipe.
- Draw the desired volume of bacteriostatic water.
- Inject slowly down the inside wall of the vial (avoid blasting the powder).
- Let the powder dissolve; gently swirl if needed. Do not shake.
- Store the mixed vial in the refrigerator and protect from light.
3. Research Cycle Overviews
Below is how these peptides are typically structured in controlled research settings.
BPC-157 – Research Outline
Typical research duration: 4–6 weeks.
Common focus:
- Soft-tissue recovery models
- Cellular repair pathways
- Gut and GI resilience
- Inflammation markers
Cycle structure (research format): Daily or every-other-day observations over the full cycle for consistent data collection.
TB-500 – Research Outline
Typical research duration: 6–8 weeks.
Common focus:
- Actin binding and cell migration
- Angiogenesis and tissue resilience
- Synergy models with BPC-157
Cycle structure (research format):
Weeks 1–2: Higher-frequency observations.
Weeks 3–8: Steady weekly or bi-weekly measurements.
GLP-3 / RTT – Research Outline
Typical research duration: 4–12 weeks, depending on protocol.
Common focus:
- Appetite modulation models
- Metabolic rate and energy balance
- Glucose and satiety-related pathways
Cycle structure (research format): Daily or weekly observations, often with protocol adjustments around weeks 4, 8, and 12.
4. Storage & Handling
- Store unmixed vials in a cool, dry place away from light.
- Refrigerate after mixing to support stability.
- Avoid temperature swings and keep everything sterile.
